    collectors again
Uncirculated Coin Set 2020 will go on sale Nov. 30th at noon BUT
Due to the effects of COVID-19 at our manufacturing facilities, this year’s set has a limited production quantity of 213,000. For the same reason, there will be no free premium nickel accompanying this set. Please be sure to order early, as supplies are limited – we have 137,000 fewer than last year.

Hey 2 out of 3 ain't bad just ask Meatloaf

And my understanding is the George HW Brush Presidential dollar will be sold separately. If they couldn't do a Special Nickel that could have be a nice throw in

Really? You're not going to buy this because it is missing the nickel? I'm not a modern collector and don't buy anything from the mint, but c'mon, this just adds a bit to the story and history of 2020 and all that has gone on.

They are still selling last years! This years is $5.00 more roughly, and no W nickel.... I think their "idea" they will have a quick sell out is just plain bonkers. They were barely breaking 200K annual sales of these sets without adding the free W coin in there for the last half decade, it's why the W coin was added, because sales were abysmal. Whatever I was looking forward to for this set was just stripped away from it.

20 coins for $25.25, and 4 of them you can't get from circulation but can buy in bulk from the mint, and it all has a face value of $5.82..... for $25.25.....

I'm probably just going to buy the two half dollars and two NA dollars and get the rest from circulation. I can get the Ps and Ds off ebay for like $11 for the 4 coins shipping included. I'm sure if I shopped around I could find it cheaper than that too.

George H.W. Bush Presidential $1 Coin 2020 Rolls, Bags, and Boxes. fall 2020.

I'd assume they are going to sell it for $34.50 a roll like they do the NA dollars but you never know though, they might juice it further.

Not being sold as individuals as of yet, I don't see any "set" listed for it either yet.
So, likely the rolls are the only option, or I should say cheapest option for that aside from buying them on the secondary market as singles.

last years set was $54.95. this years was $63.25 as I understand it though the mint is going to bump up prices further due to the run up on silver.

    https://public-inspection.federalregister.gov/2020-22458.pdf
    https://www.federalregister.gov/doc...united-states-mint-silver-numismatic-products

According to that, theyh are about to drop the hammer on all silver products for sale on the site and the silver proof set for 2019 or 2020 is going to get bumped up to $105.00

I really wish this thread had a better title because this price increase is pretty big news.

they want to price the 75th anniversary of WWII silver eagle at $83.00 each but this silver proof set thing is outrageous.

I dedicated a new thread to this news. if people were gonna buy but waiting, they need fair warning the mints about to jack up the prices.

They may be about to raise a lot of prices. A member from one of my local clubs who buys the 3 inch bronze medals says he was notified recently that after I believe the end of this month the prices are going to more than triple for them.
