1864 2 Cent small motto - dug

    Ok this one took me 3 hours to find but it was well worth it . I dug this at a " hunted out site ". I love that saying. Anyhow, after digging a bunch of lead shots, I pulled up this coin. It was right near the entrance to an old stone cellar hole . It was about 7 inches down on . At first I thought it was Nickel until I turned it over and saw the 2 . I finished up ,went home (happy ! ) and confirmed what it was . Oh, the reverse color was changed to show detail. The Obverse is the true color ( Muy Verde )

    Nice find. I've never dug a 2c piece, though have have had dig buddies find them in the same field near where I was on two occasions.

    I found 3 in one day. They called me 2 cent Sal . lol
    I found a 1865 and two 1864's .

    Great guys, all I find is dirt, worms, and wire. Some people have all the luck just ask paddyman. Oh well, I'll keep on digging.
