    A Penny For 2 Cents
    Sometimes I feel I do not need any reason other than to simply admire something to give it a value. Not in desperation and not for gain, but in respect.
    Almost 50 years in circulation.
    It's story and true colors hidden beneath the shellac of it's testament to the time of it's creation.

    This coin had a good life.
    This cent earned it's way.
    This penny is honest.
    It's just a simple penny, but I'm just a simple guy and I just simply admire it.

    I agree. If I had it I would give it a safe place to live. I have many toned that are not worth much to anyone, but, I like them. That's what coin collectors do.
