    It looks more like die deterioration to me.

    The doubling you see is NAV and the 9 in the date is damaged.

    If one was looking only at the UNUM then I can see why they would think that it was a DDR. If you look closely at even the UNUM you can see a combination of Die Deterioration and MD. Die deterioration shows on both sides of the devices.
    One example is the E. It might be minor but it is evident on most of the reverse.

    I lean towards MD with circulation damage.
