I normally hang around in the World coins section, but I have been brought 3 older coins for assessment in the market. I know a bit but not enough! This is the third. I have found a match in Sear with S1800, but again I fear it is too good to be true. Any thoughts? Measures about 32mm and weighs 23.1g.
The famous "Three Sisters" sestertius, one of the most commonly faked coins in the hobby. Be very skeptical about its authenticity. In terms of catalog number, it's RIC 33, BMCRE 36, Sear 1800.
