What coin, what language?

    I have this coin. I can't find on the net. Wonder if anyone else knows what this is? My hubby thinks it looks like Tibet, I say of Korean/Asian withthe letters, etc. It's date is 1974 on back, also it reads 100. only thing legible in english. The front is a man with beard and squared type hat like what you would see on African regalia.

    can't say without a picture, but that sounds like a Korean 100 Won. Lived there for awhile. Beautiful country with some neat coinage.

    Hey, yes it is the same 'language' I think. Different picture though.

    Kandlo,this is a South Korean coin.The coins that were issued prior
    to being taken over by Japan in 1910 are from united Korea,as united Korea was a monarchy.
