With only 2 million of these minted do you think this will become a modern key date? Has anyone found one in circulation? In my opinion, these will skyrocket in value. The same thing I said about Seated Liberty Half Dimes 10 years ago.. I'm thinking about getting a certified example rather than buy a raw one from someone

I just saw one go for just under 200. Way overblown. Id pay maybe 10 bucks.

I can understand that...I'm having a hard time deciding on one for $60....and its only an MS64!

This was MS64. It had the stupid "early find" designation.

This one does also...I believe they only use designations like that to blow up the price. You know how they do.

If I am not mistaken, EVERY W quarter is 2 million mintage.

The price will settle out at between $15-$20 like the other W mint ATB quarters have. If they are slabbed you are really just paying for the slab. All of the W quarters have a 2 million mintage on them.

I wasn't thinking that the mintage was the same for all West Point quarters. Thanks guys for the comment .

look, these W mintmark quarters started in 2019. total of 10 million, 2 million of each design. As far as 2019 Ws go, they all sell ungraded for around $5-$10 on ebay, maybe up to $15, with the exception of the American Memorial Park reverse quarter which still sell on ebay for $20-$35 ungraded.
As far as graded, looks like they go for $50-$100 in MS67, with the exception of American memorial park again, which goes for $225-$300 in MS67.

I expect the same for 2020 WW quarters really.

I have one raw example of these and one raw example of the 2018 Innovation series. I will not get any more unless I find one in change.

Not a single W 2020 mintmark this year. I think these will go up a little once the dust settles but if the Mint continues this every year they will not sky rocket.

Yeah.... that's the first discovery slab. 1 of only 2 with that pcgs label. Lol

As far as key date. I think only IF collectors feel it's necessary for a collection. I don't think collectors feel the uncirculated S mint finish quarters are necessary, at least not a large number of them. It may remain as a side set.

I guess mine didn't have full luster. Definitely doesn't have fingerprints. 20200827_155059.jpg

How can there be more than one "first discovery"?

There can't but the label reads "First Week of Discovery".

I am guessing two were received at the same time. Two different people had to share the prize.

First Week of Discovery pedigree is awarded to all qualifying submissions that arrive within the following 7 days after the PCGS First Discovery has been found.

I’ve been able to get every 2019 and the 3 (so far) 2020 for roughly $15 each raw. Salt River just came in a few days ago. I put them in a case designed for the State quarters. Just cant be in a hurry to get them when they are first released.

Yes because of the mail, like fedex or ups will drop it all at once. two or more people's submissions for first discovery could be received on the same day in which case it's a tie and they split the PCGS bounty and all the submission's get the slab.
