Many of the so-called educated ones have an ego problem on many of these sights. We come to these sights to learn, not to bash others.

I'm so old I'm one of the very few who
knew Mort Goodman - while he was driving
across the country giving talks at local coin
club meetings on the Minting Process, and then
later when he founded the first local error club.

He was a great guy, and his wife Jane -
I'd see him every month at the
Error Club of Hollywood monthly meetings
up in Hollywood, and he would drive us
out to the Wallace Trade Bindery once a month
to help other NECA Members (The Wallaces,
Ronn Fern) do the actual printing, collating,
binding, and mailing out the monthly Errorscope.

Having been a State Auditor for 30+ years, I am aware that the USM has quality control. I've been a member of this site for a little while and I've seen many entries where someone thinks they have found an error coin, only to find out from the members, here, that the coin only has after environment damage. I guess that I expect too much of the Mint. Thanks for your comment, tho.
