A fine example of a Lincoln Cent. This baby was in my truck for years, in a cup holder. God knows what it stewed in over the years. DSC00274.jpg DSC00275.jpg

    My finest "railroad coin" . . . . . .

You might even call it a "transportation token" if it weren't a real U.S. coin.

    LOL, yeah I've got no filter . . . . . . . it's a curse.

    I couldn't decide if this was a railroad coin or a country road coin . . . . . probably the latter.

I wonder if I should post this in the "Error Coin" subforum? Maybe I could trade it to one of the other posters . . . . . . .

I have 2 of the Strasburg Railroad steam engines that ran over a coin that I placed on the track. #89 & 90 I did try for 475 but when the coin left the track I couldn't find it.

I'm really liking the ghosting left in that modern quarter. Unfortunately mine was done in the 90's.
