Its not an Austrian Ducat. This seems to be a silver? copy of a Ducat from the reign of the Emperor Francis I (wife of...I mean husband to Maria Theresa ) pictured below is a real ducat of this ruler: I think you have a copy of the above coin
It looks like your coin might be a promotional piece that was given away by Reader's Digest some years ago. Scroll down about 4/5 of the way to the bottom of the following web site, to "1752 Austrian Ducat-- Funny Money" http://www.vision.net.au/~pwood/April2002.htm
Its a real bad fake, I would say its worth nothing, biggest hint that it isnt real would be that it looks nothing like the real thing...among other glaring hints
you have to upload it to a website before you can post it, it must be online to link into the forum. Once the picture has a URL then you post it as I have mentioned above.
he are the pics of my ducat http://img291.imageshack.us/my.php?image=dsc00270os1.jpg http://img267.imageshack.us/my.php?image=dsc00268it1.jpg
OK - now scroll down to post #3 and compare yours to the genuine coin. You'll see why we know it is a fake.
