I think I found a Lincoln clashed die

It is not major but I can see a "Y" in between the second and third column on the right, and a "T" is in the first but it is less visible. I think I can see the outline of his head and shoulder too. Sorry but I'm limited to pics with my QX5.

In hand I can see faint columns on either side of Abe's head, but I don't think they show up in the pic. May be able to see a little above "LIBERTY".

I hope you can see it because I don't want to admit to seeing things just yet.

Here's a coin overlay that might help with your coin. And if you haven't been welcomed yet [IMG]

Yes I see the Y. and it's where it would be in a clash.

Well i don't see any signs of a die clash at all

What is the sense of having a die clash when you have to look that hard under heavy magnification it's a waste of time. I have a die clash that you could see with the naked eye. those are the ones that bring a little premium and not much either not to much interest in them unless they are extreme ones

The ones that are interesting are the ones you don't have to look that hard for I would not bother if i had to use a real strong magnification to see it , maybe about a 10x loups maybe i said. I'm not trying to be negative both it's just common sense to me

Personally I like die clashed coins. I don't know why people would collect ASE's. To each his own. I can clearly see the "Y" and I need a loupe just to see the date on a cent.
