Picked these up at a coin show today (1881-S & 1882-S). From what I can find, these were promotional items for opening a new account with the bank. Presumably, the one on the right is an older marketing piece, as it lists one fewer branch (unless the bank closed the Dairy Ashford branch - I guess it could go either way).

Looks like they'd both grade MS64 or better. Presumably, these were issued in the 50s or 60s and represent someone's choice of the highest grade Morgans available from the bank's holdings.

Anyone else have one of these in your collection?

This is just a wild guess, but I think they are from the 60's because that is when the Treasury releases began.

NOTE: A lot of Savings & Loans went under in the late 50's.

I've been out bid on a couple on ebay in the past and still do not have one of these or the old Tidy House promos.
I would have scooped them up as well (if the price was right).

Those are pretty cool!! My parents were given a 21 Morgan in a plastic "bootie" by their bank when I was born in 1960. Unfortunately, the bootie has since fallen apart, but I still have the 21!! (And, no, its not the one I'm using for my avatar ;))

The seller was asking $100 & $125 for them. I offered $200 for the pair.
