please tell me all about this cent.

    1968 D maybe fine condition, however it seems to have extremely high relief(if thats what you call it). The rim all around is and all the numbers and letters are pressed what i would consider deep. 20200926_122819.jpg 20200926_122854.jpg

    Appears to be a normal, well circulated, cent to me. Other than taking a hit(s) to the date, I see nothing unusual about it.

    SOme of those older cents just look nicer in my opinion. I don't know the exact reason why but I adore the older lincolns more than any other coin.

    Sometimes I find old Lincolns with nice beefy, even rims like this one. Somehow the rims seem to have little or no wear on them and I wonder how did that happen? They stand out from newer cents. Maybe the were well-stuck or led an easy life. Maybe they were born lucky.
