Okay so I know I can’t call them Black Beauties until they’re graded. But I am doing so spite what so people think, I mean if you disagree... we all know who The less intelligent ones are. just kidding. Just trying to lighten up the mood.

OKAY WHAT I HAVE IS. A FULL ROLL OF 1959 no mint mark so less were made. Not only that but the whole roll is all black beauties in perfect I mean flawless condition. I’m getting the entire roll graded. This is an outstanding find - Edted - And let me get some feed back on them if y’all don’t mind. Let me see what y’all think they will be worth. And the mint state and I’ll post results after I get them back 74BEE37F-E84A-4548-8119-6DD79DB3601A.png 5B79FCBA-A9C7-4B40-9EDE-6B372A91DBC4.png 74BEE37F-E84A-4548-8119-6DD79DB3601A.png 5B79FCBA-A9C7-4B40-9EDE-6B372A91DBC4.png 74BEE37F-E84A-4548-8119-6DD79DB3601A.png 5B79FCBA-A9C7-4B40-9EDE-6B372A91DBC4.png 1D403982-B335-4D46-8CC8-826A9CB2D70B.png 97AD182F-EC7B-4C72-8FF5-6824933C31C9.png

how many of these Improper Annealing AKA Black Beauty are out there? I have found 2 randomly one is still in my set. The value aspect is not that great unless you end up with a high grade like MS67. There not even remotely close to the value the poll suggested. Good luck but unless you have something special you may not recover the grade fees. upload_2020-9-24_13-11-8.png

They are nice looking but you don't show the wrapper they were in. How were they stored for the past 61 years? My guess is they are just toned from being in a paper wrapper while in storage.

    Welcome to CT.

These are highest quality if not proof first ever full roll of uncirculated 1959 Jefferson nickels and “black Beauties” plus there are about 17 double printed. Of Jefferson’s face. Looks like he has a butt chin.

Double dyed so when the planchette presses it was pressed twice. Doing so moved the planchette slightly off and when it pressed again. Creating. Dbl image

in their color of the coins?

I suggest you research how DIES are made, what makes a DOUBLED DIE, then the minting process, the method of making proof coins, then think about the statement you made
