    Not bad looking for her age. The only problem is someone tried to make her ear bigger. Shame on them as this coin still has mint redness in a few places. At least she was cheap.

    Considering the obvious wear, the "mint redness" was most likely from an old cleaning.

    I agree with kanga, the coin took an old cleaning and didn't retone in some spots

    It's possible it was cleaned and retoned if there are no hairlines on the surface that I can see. I just posted another Large Cent and that's definitely cleaned. This is one of a number of $5.00 coins so no complaints from me.
