Quarter that is driving my eyes crazy

I know this is not a double die, but not sure what it is, if it is anything at all. If you look at the end of the arrows, it appears that on the arrows comes out behind one of the leaves. I have looked at this with a 5x mag, a 17x loupe, and also under a USB Microscope. Any thoughts or opinions would be greatly appreciated.

In one photo I circled the leaf and labled it 1, in the other I circled what appears to be the tip of an arrow and labled it 2

Sorry I should have added that in the orginal post. It is a 1972 D.

That is a strange mark. Any clearer shots?

 

I can't hardly make it out by the ptcs but i'm guessing a possible strike through maybe I would say better pics are needed
