    Hi guys & gals,

I have the 1919 Lincoln Wheat penny with a Die Chip Error on the Reverse next to the "N" in Cent. Are die chips uncommon for the early years of Wheat's?

Also would like to know if this penny is considered a Woodie (improper alloy mix)? I see the Obverse has a mix of gold/brown tones and horizontal lines.

    Thanks very much.

It does look to be an Improperly Mixed Alloy.
    Nice find.

Woodies are my daughters favorite error, she has found 6 or 7 since we started this hobby together a few months ago. Great find
