I looked at 3 1964-D Lincoln Cents.. Then I looked on Variety Vista.. The last coin on the right has obverse errors.. It could be die deteriorating and just looks different, but I don't think so.. The W in WE matches up good.. Alot of doubling or die ware?? TY
I don't know about your cent. Varieties are not my thing. But I do love to see your posts. The photo of you hugging your dad makes me miss my girl that lives much too far from me..... Sorry for the de-rail... Carry on.
Awe..daddy passed from cancer and he suffered badly.. hes with the good Lord now and suffers no more.. I'm sure your daughter misses you too.. y'all sound like me and daddy and were close
I like coins that are clean and look like they worked for a living. Those are nice. I'm not in to classifying varieties either.
I appreciate all y'alls advice and replies.. This coin was better condition than the other 2 or I never would have caught it.. Thanks y'all
Have 3 sons and 3 daughters. 2 daughters close by and 1 is 1000 miles away. I get lots of hugs when they get close. Very fortunate. A lot of men think it is too girlish.
In the south we have a saying, " Mama's boys and Daddy's girls ".. Lol.. My daddy was as tough as they come!! Nothing girlish at all about loving your kiddos that way.. Gives them strength and courage to be strong and always come to you for advice when they need it.. Not girlish in the least bit
Candice, I'd need much better photos before giving an opinion. The ones you've posted of close ups are too blurry to tell anything. It is probably just die wear (not die ware). LOL
Sorry to hear about your father. My sister is with him and I miss her terribly. As for your coin, it looks normal to me except struck from a worn die. Way to many of them made but still a good looking one.
I know.. I have come to realize that y'all can't see the photos like I can.. I apologize for that.. this coin is completely different from the other 2 or I would not have posted.. I promise I would not try to waste anyone's time here.. I will try to figure it out.. Thanks for the response
So sorry to hear about your sister.. She will be there in spirit when you need her the most though.. Daddy always is..
I completely agree.. Took me 2 years to move past grieving daddy.. I'm not ashamed of it.. don't believe in lying.. hardest thing I've ever done.. but, I have his strength in me and it only made me stronger.. I may not have his intellect as far as the coins go.. lol.. but I'm not weak.. His famous words were, "Always stay cool, calm, and collected!!" .. I'm working on it.. haha
