Counter-marks on Kingdom of Napoleon 1 Lira of 1812 V

    I would like to get information on this twice counter-marked coin of the Venice mint in my collection. It appears that the coin was revalued to 1 1/2 lire. Why? By whom? Please see digital images below.

    I wonder how long those Kingdom of Napoleon silver coins circulated in Italy after the end of Napoleon's era. I think 1814 is the last year they minted Napoleon coins in Italy. The Napoleon silver coins were mostly the same size and weight as later issue Italian silver coins.

    Your 1812V one lira coin when minted was 5 grams of 90% silver. Later Italian silver one lira coins up until the early 1900's were also 5 grams.
