This coin has very pretty toning. Described as steel-blue tone in the 1988 Norweb Collection sale. One of only 4 coins i managed to bid on succesfully in that sale.
    Hope you like it.

By the way, how would you guys grade it today? It was graded EF40 in the catalogue.

I agree with the grade based on the wear on the cheek, nose, and shield on the reverse.

    I also believe it is a B-1 R2 Coin.

    Eduard,

As always, it is a pleasure to view your beautiful coins and this one is no exception! I agree with the EF-40 grade but have no idea of the Varieties of this beautiful Series. Thanks for sharing!

I'm jealous! I still have an empty slot for one of these in my Dansco. One like the one you posted fits all the criteria of what I look for. (original, toned, and XF+). VERY BEAUTIFUL COIN!! way above average imo.

The few Liberty Cap quarters I have are worn almost smooth (affordable)... they get a little pricy when they look this good.. very nice!

It looks like a definite xf to me too, a very sweet, original coin. A keeper for sure.
