did you place it next to or on a penny for comparison?
or weighed a dime vs a penny for weight comparisons ?

Is the dime sitting on a cent?

I don't think any meaningful answers will be coming your way till you post an image in focus

Welcome to CT @dieingbreed88. First of all, you should state why you think it is an error, and then post IN FOCUS photos of the coin, cropped to show just the coin, with close-ups of the areas you question, otherwise, you are wasting everyones time. Good luck.

Dryer or spooned dime. Do a quick search on those and you'll get answers.

I'm a bit confused by the photos you're showing us. You infer the dime was pressed into the cent. This photo makes it look like a clad dime where the edge was cut out, removing the reeded edge, and exposing the copper core. The arrows point to what, IMO, think is the clad outer layers.

    Are you showing different coins?
Where does the obverse of a 2006D dime fit in this?
