I am wondering if the penny on the right is small date. I'm inclined to say no but thought I'd ask. It appears less obvious to me, as compared to the left penny. Although the top of the zero appears to be level with the top of the seven the bottom of the sevenseems to extend below the zero slightly. Also the curl in the nine doesn't seem to curl in enough. What day you?

Doesn't appear to be. Here's a quick way to identify the Large and Small date cents.

Looks like a large date to me. Here is another photo to use to compare. The nine in the date is another marker to determine lg v. sm date.

Thank you everyone for the info. I apologise for the wrong title on intro. I have a 1972 penny with what I believe to be rim error I found right before leaving for work so was on my mind. I'm waiting for a better camera/scope before taking pictures.
