Actually you don’t you have [edited-Rule 1] watch. It’s a replica. Only the Rolex company can try and prove its counterfeit just like only the government can try and prove a coin is counterfeit. Look at it this way, the coin is a replica until proven to be counterfeit just like you are presumed to be innocent of possession of a counterfeit coin until proven guilty.

No. Nobody here bought one without knowing what it was. This topic runs much deeper than that.

BTW, a counterfeit is a fraudulent replica. You are totally wet.

I know not to waste my time trying to be reasonable with you so there is that.

You said a counterfeit was a fraudulent replica. You can’t get to the fraud part without action by someone which is exactly what I said. You just don’t know how to read.

I think the word counterfeit can be used as an adjective, verb or noun in a sentence. As a verb it is an action but nouns are people, places or things (if I am remembering my English lessons correctly). Mr. Henning counterfeits nickels. I own a counterfeit nickel. The nickel is a counterfeit.

Exactly Razz. You own a nickel. In order to add an adjective you would need some more information about it.

3 pages so far and only a handful of posters with their own descriptive opinion or attributing a description to another source. Nitpicking over nuances of the English language is not what this thread is about. Unfortunately typical for this subject

You do know it’s not illegal to possess a counterfeit coin...don’t you?

Nitpicking over English is practically the title of the thread. What exactly are you talking about?

Think really hard. Why do you think it is that you are allowed to possess a replica? Cause it isn’t counterfeit until someone proves it is. You people are funny, you tell me I’m wrong while showing me I’m right.
