What a wonderful "eclectic" collection. I would treasure it simply due to it being in the family. Thanks for the acknowledgment on the Military payments, but I mainly post about them to let @mpcusa know about them. He is the true collector of them, and Disney dollars.
Man, y'all got better pareidolia than I've got (I learned that word from @paddyman98 ). I did a Google-fu search for this "vampire note." Saw lots of images, some with color, rotation, etc. It wasn't until I found THIS image / illustration, that I knew what y'all were talking about. I took photos of about half of what's down in those bins. I'll try to document some of the other interesting bank notes. I'll try to stay focused on the older / more unique ones. So far, I don't think I've found anything that is worthy of value. Let me know if I've missed something. Z
Yes, it is a pretty common note, here are a few facts on it. Series 661 Issued: Oct 21 1968 Withdrawn: August 11 1969 Countries in which used: exclusively in Vietnam
Nobody commented on the very first silver certificate in the first post. Reverse printed and cut off center . . . . . . Z
I was wondering about that. I know they're legit notes but this one could raise eyebrows if someone tried to spend that. Not that I would of course!
