No snow in Idaho yet. Be safe and careful up there in Big Sky Country Mountain Man. Stay warm and healthy. Keep posting so we know you are okay...

Montana is on my bucket list of places I would like to "enjoy" the wildlife and the big sky. Yes enjoy one meal at a time. I'll post a pic later of my firewood I'm working on thanks to H. Laura.

Wild weather indeed - 120 temps in California, snow in Colorado, red skies from wildfires in Oregon, and we even had a rare earthquake in central NJ this morning

Always have two on the ready. Get lots of wildlife coming to my property.

What a view like living in Yellowstone 24/7 without boundaries. Have a safe and hopefully mild winter Mountain Man. Thanks for the pics.

I think we had a earthquake at 9:30 this morning. Have not confirmed yet.

You caught a bridge? That's great. LOL I have a Great White Heron that frequents my creek. Beautiful birds, standing or flying.

I have a UPS box in town (20+ miles away) that will sign for my deliveries, hold my mail, and allow others to pick up my mail and bring it to me when I can't get into town

I built the walkway last spring to get to the lake across a flooded wetland on my property. The Great Blue Heron built a nest amongst the dead trees. It was fun watching the babies run across the walkway.

I'm getting close to having my tree cut up from my hurricane damage. What is seen here is only a third that is cut up. Still have a lot if work to split it all and get it to my wood shed.

Lots of work, isn't it? At my age and health, I've turned to paying younger people to do most of my wood. Being my main source of heat, I burn through roughly 10 cords of wood a winter.

Ten cords?! That's a lot of work for sure.
