    Yes..

    Looks like it was encased in a modern lucky cent holder. Or a Souvenir keychain.. It was taken out and now it is DEFDAM - Definitely Damaged :yack:

    With those photos, I can barely say it is a US cent, but safe to say if it is, it is PMD or Post Mint Damage. If you have followed this site since you joined in 2017, you should be aware that late 1982 the mint changed to copper plated zinc planchets for the cent and thus many are just crap and don't last long.
