If you are talking about the rim of the coin, that is something pretty common and adds no additional value. The condition is cool knowing that it is 1936 though.

@Sabrina Fehr ...I’ll do it for @paddyman98 ...the term is “doubled die”. The design on the die is doubled during the die making process. You can have it occur on the Master Die (hub) or any of the subsequent working hubs or working dies created from it. And, it doesn’t have to begin with the Master. ...however, as far as your coin goes, you need to supply a close-up of the area where you think you see doubling so we can assess it clearly. From the OP pic, I don’t see any. It is really a nice 36 wheat, I do see some abrasion of the cheek, jaw and lapel, and using just that criteria, would say it is maybe MS61. Excellent for being 84 yo...Spark
