there is an auction today selling a five gallon pail of pennies and i was wondering if anyone has an idea as 2 how many are in there?
I asked much the same question on a thread in the old Coin World forum. I had (still have) three of the pails full of pennies, plus a two gallon Colorado Rockies popcorn bottle, a Deep Rock water bottle, and numerous smaller containers. I would assume that after I am only a memory, the kids and grandkids will spend considerable time searching through all those pennies.
