physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

I'm quite sure that, in hand, the coin does not look like that. Those photos are highly optimistic in a deceptive style to make you think that it's black and white. Sure, it probably has a great cameo - but I'm sure that its not nearly as perfect as those pictures make it look.

IMO there are SO MANY other better designed U.S. coins you could buy w/ $41K.

Any coin is going to look different in hand as opposed to an image. For a coin to retain a cameo contrast, deep aside, after 146 years is quite mind boggling when you think about it. Worth the asking bid? That question will always be up for debate.

My favorite coin is the Trade Dollar, to each is own I guess.

If I were going to spend 41K on a coin. I would rather go through one of the big boys to purchase it. (HA, Stacks, ETC...) Plus, I would like to see it person, before buying something like that.

I would be absolutely paranoid if it were arriving in the mail. 41K is too much money for me to have it sent by mail IMO.

Same here, for that kind of money I'd go pick it up.
