Do not worry about that. There are many helpful people here. A very nice find and welcome to the forum
CNG is a good place to search. The legend on your coin is Greek, making it a drachm, it's of Hadrian and the reverse features a capricorn. So, I searched for Hadrian drachm capricorn y voila... https://www.cngcoins.com/Search.asp..._TYPE_ID=2&VIEW_TYPE=0&MAX_COUNT=10000&PAGE=1 ATB, Aidan.
Also, don’t clean the coin mechanically (if you are planning to clean the coin). The deposits are Horn silver, and I expect this to dissolve quickly and nice in a sodium thiosulphate solution (I would definitely clean this coin were it mine)
Terrific coin! Congratulations, and Welcome! ...If you do make mistakes, people here let you recover quickly. (I know from abundant experience!)
Unfortunately it’s part of a hoard of 377 Denarius I found about four weeks ago,I can’t clean any until they are either declared treasure or not.
Interesting find, and welcome to CT! Super-interesting to see what it consist of when/if you get the permission to clean it.
...you call that unfortunate! I think most here would really like some pictures of that hoard! Can you share?

Once confirmation comes through, feel free to create your own thread on the board with some photos and information like size and weight. To upload an image, click the "Upload a File" button below the text box, select your image file, and it will upload and appear in a list below. From there you can add it to your post where your cursor is (be sure to move your cursor where you want it placed) by clicking the "Full Image" button beside your photo in the list. Best of luck, Leni!
