Hi all. As they've done in July, the ANA is holding another series of free seminars. Topics include:

    1. Digital Image Editing for Numismatics: Getting Your Obverses & Reverses Together.
    2. MPC Boot Camp.
    3. Grading 101 in Arabic.
    4. Secrets of the Flying Eagle & Indian Head Cents.
    5. Grading 101.
    6. Numismatic Photography: Digital Equipment & Techniques.
    7. Coin Collecting Basics.
    8. Auction World 101: An Inside Perspective.
    9. You Can Research & Publish a Numismatic Book; Tom & I Did.

These are open to the public as well as ANA members. You can register via the link below. Back in July, the popular ones (like Grading 101) filled up pretty quickly.

You know, looking over that list of seminars, I'm going to suggest the
Grading 101 in Arabic to a few dealers I know because their attempt to grade using the English language is worse than atrocious. Seems the English language is strange to them so perhaps Arabic would be easier. Heck my Grandson learned basic, conversational Pashto in six weeks. Oh well, just musing.
Yep, I remember when B.U. actually meant Brilliant Uncirculated instead of Been Used or in some case Beat Up. Oh well.

Yeah, I thought that particular course was a bit unexpected. I think #4 will fill up pretty quickly.

I signed up yesterday for 1, 4, 6 & 8. I also attended several a couple of weeks ago. When you sign up, you can elect to have it automatically put on your calendar which is super convenient. The ones I've attended were conducted flawlessly.
