That coin is a 1942 which is a 5 figure difference from a 1943 copper cent. In the condition you showed about a nickel.

    Depends upon the coin issue.

This discussion is called a thread. It's title is, "
    1943 brass cent".

Starting a "new thread" means start a new discussion with a new descriptive title for each coin / question you have.

    Hope that helps.

Yes and when we reply to a thread, it's called a post. Starting a new thread is also called posting a thread.

@Roy Vallejos ...for wheat cents in that condition, your local LCS will buy them for 2-3 cents.

Once again, it’s not how much they are worth...it is how much someone will pay. You have to find the right buyer without misrepresenting the coin. Key dates sell for more...Spark

Maybe you heard the story. One man walks up to another man who is repeatedly hitting his head against a wall. The first man says, “Why are you doing that?” and the second man says, “Because it feels so good when I stop.”

The way I heard it was the man was hitting his head with a hammer, but both work for me. LOL
