1970 D Lincoln Cent Date Error

The 9 in 1970 has an error.. The I and B in Liberty are close.. The reverse looks doubled.. The FG is messed up and the top of the last 2 columns are not right.. The last A in America isn't right either.. I don't know if you can see what I am talking about with the ceiling.. when I try to post a magnified shot, it's over pixeled.. Sorry

In all honesty and at this late hour, it all looks normal to me.

Okay.. Sorry for the time.. Cant believe no one sees nothing.. not even the error on the nine.. or the ceiling of the last 2 columns.. but thanks for the replies

 

If the 9 were upside down, then you would really have something there . . . . .

Yes, your second photo showed the 9 had a small die chip. It was hidden by the lighting in the other photos. I think it a die chip on the reverse as well.

In very good shape considering it's 50 years old. For sure not in circulation all of those years. Abe's got a terrible gash on his cheek though.

That cut on Lincolns cheek is a bag cut which is very common.

 

Thanks for the info.. I'm learning.. My dad had me collecting wheat pennies, buffalo nickels, and half dollars for him since I was 10.. lol.. I know some of the correct things to look for, but still a newbie.. I just know he was keeping this one for a reason and its pretty interesting as well.. I appreciate the response..
