Coin is in bad shape, but looks like the 1942 wheat penny error FS-01-1942-104 or Coneca DDO-008. Any thoughts?

Why would anyone counterfeit a cent?

Yea it's pretty rough. What do you mean counterfeit?

The mouth line of Lincoln, I've only seen him "smiling" like that on faked 1955 DDO's.

But I've been known to be wrong before. It was a stab in the dark, like many of my "contributions." I will many times ask the question that I think everyone else is thinking, but hesitant to ask, like "What's up with that member who refers to himself in the 3rd person as "Meow?"

    Back to your original program.

    I've got an "update" to an old saying . . . . . .

    "It don't take ALL KINDS, we've just GOT 'ALL KINDS' . . . . . . . "
