Here is a coin I have no idea what it is. I bought it because it was old and i liked it. Other than that. I know nothing about it. I got the title info off the 2X2. If you asking yourself if i paid alot for it the answer is no. Around $17.00. Any info on this would be great.

It is a Sasanian Silver Drachm.
Khusro II (Xusrō II), 590-628 AD, 2nd reign.
Obv., Winged crowned bust facing right inside double dotted border,
crescents with stars at 3, 6, & 9 o’clock. Pahlavi script upper right script "hwslwb" translates Xusrō, upper left "GDH apzwt" translates “may his glory grow”
rev., Two attendants flanking fire alter with crescent on
heads inside triple dotted border, Crescent and stars at 3, 6, 9, & 12 o’clock.
Right Pahlavi script is the mint, left script is the Year ; both I cannot make out.
The photo of the reverse is upside-down.

I'm not too bright with Sassanians, but this is a more common piece, and Khusru II is a more common ruler. $17 is a fair price for this particular coin.
