Or my coins, lol!! I tried selling a 1911-S Lincoln cent, strong XF, nice problem free coin, and it ended at $36 or something like that!! I'm glad I had a reserve on it.

I don't get it.The guy says Silver Proof Set and shows a Mint Proof Set.
What person would pay $77 bucks for a Silver Proof Set when it is worth only $44.95. The Mint Proof Set goes for $26.95. Could it be he is selling both for $77.00 ?? And what do you mean by ' clad ' proof set\, from the mint? This whole thing says STAY AWAY and go elsewhere. zg:confused::confused:

No guys, its the 2008 Clad set that is jumping. What is the reason? WHO KNOWS. Maybe its because its the last year for the state quarters, maybe its because they put the proverbial sold out sign up.

Whatever it is the Clad Set is taking off. Go to your B and M and grab a few if you can and dump them quick.

a past auction for 2008 clad proof set was over $100. I only have one, but I just might sell if the price stays this high.

It's ridiculous how much people will pay for common date clad proof sets. The clad sets are a joke. If you wanted something valuable and appealing, go with silver.

I feel the same way but not that strongly about it :)

this is the lowest mintage for a clad proof set (by far). I suspect that a lot of collectors did not get these because they are usually sold into the summer of the following year. There are plenty of reasons to think that these will be worth a lot. If you can still get a few at $40 you should (I may get a couple more myself).

there is nothing to be happy with the low mintage of clad proof set and or 5 pc clad quarters proof set. almost all products for 2008 is considered low mintage. some products even had few thousands only.

Is there a possibility that the Mint will make more available later, making all who paid extra look foolish? Seems I've seen them do that before, with other coins.
