I have a modern coin, 2002, that obverse reads "Turkiye Cumhuriyeti" and 500.000 lira and reverse reads "kimsenin ac Kalmayacagi Bir Donya" and picture of a sheep. Seems like it should be from Turkey but can't find it. Anyone know?

It sounds Turkish to me. It could be a commemorative coin. Welcome to cointalk by the way!

If this is the coin you got

then you are right about it being of Turkey.
Its km#1161 worth $2.50 in uncirculated state.

Current face value is 5 new lira (~$3.27) following the 2005 devaluation.
