Hey guys I have this 1898 S Morgan Silver dollar, It's been graded by NTC or the Numistrust Corporation ( I know I know ). What grade would you give the coin, and then I will tell what NTC gave it.

Your picking remind me of one washed with baking soda or something like that. I will say AU55 - and the NTC grade is like MS65.

Well I guess the whole gang[IMG] are doing a lot of drinking at the third party grading company .NTC

I would never send my coins there. I could not see how a coin with wear can even make an MS grade it;s not an uncirculated coin

Well they were drunk for sure or blind one of the two. I put red were the extensive wear is I can't believe it MS 62 over graded indeed.

98 s's are not known for strong strikes in fact the opposite. I think it's a nice looking coin (especially in the last photo). I vote ms.

The coin is consistent with others like it graded as 58 by the TPG's.

Assuming it was never cleaned and is a weak strike, that's not a 62 coin by any stretch IMO.
