    Hi All

Im cashing out my silver and these were in the pile to go.

I want to ask the experts first as Morgans have so many varieties, etc and in a million years I wouldnt be able to understand what to look for - So just wanted to make sure I didnt send anything away that was interesting VAM wise, etc...

    Large pics attached. Thank you!

Depends if you take them to someone who only cares about the silver then melt. But some of those coins have numimatic value and could be slighlty above melt

Anyone else have any thoughts before these go out the door?

I agree, anything half decent is bringing $27+ on Ebay.
I can't help with the vams, though as worn as these are I think it quite unlikely that there would be anything that would add much value, though I suppose there is a chance!

I have always been under the impression that all of the Morgan silver dollars (excpet the garbage from China) were worth more than melt. Has that changed?

List them for sale on CT first?

If I may hijack this thread for a moment...before I list 30 of these for sale @basically spot, are these just MD on the reverse, in the lettering? Flat and shelf-like.

I agree. $25-30 each makes more sense than melt for common date circulated Morgans. They are honest, circulated coins, not worn slick.
