i got a 1991 i rupee tourism coin in my collection which is hold your breath..... keep holding .... you wont die ......... thats it ...... its strike doubling not mechanical doubling. hooray in mint condition i am so happy what a find the greastest find for me it was in my collection all the time but i just saw it hooray pics to come soon
I hope you mean that the coin was Double Struck because Strike Doubling and Machine Doubling are one and the the same, just different terms! Anyways, I can't wait to see it! Frank
oh for the terminlogy the coin was struck twice the first time around it was a partial strike so the mint employee double struck it. i tell you tis a sight for sore eyes. whata coin and in mint state too i can say what grade though i have to look at it when i am less excited
i think at most a few dollars maybe 5 to 10. now if it was a us coin people would appreciate it and it would be a few thousands but i am just happy that i got a coin like that its truly rare even if its not worth a lot
yep i am kinda obsessed with the mohur:hammer:... even dream it.. but just wouldnt buy it at the exhorbitant rates on the ebay... i keep passing by the road-side sellers with the insane hope of someday somewhere i will find it cheap does kidromeo have any? ... i will make him my best pal if he spares me any "Cheap" mohurs!:hug:
