    I toured the Denver mint about 4 - 5 years ago and I found it far, far, far superior to the Philadelphia Mint tour. Denver had an actual live tour guide who answered questions and told fascinating stories. It was definitely worth the trip.

    They also gave everyone what the tour guide called "samples" - a fresh cent and a fresh blank planchet (one set is my wife's).

    I toured the Denver mint some 20+ yrs ago. Didn't get anything free and not sure if I remember a guided tour. But then my memory is not the best.
