That is a cool find. The US mint put these out randomly to generate grassroots interest in coin collecting. Even us old collectors get pretty excited about finding them. And yes there is some intrinsic value there. Best bet is to look at Ebay and see what folks are selling them for. I am guessing they are going somewhere between $5.00-$10.00 or so by now. But that's just a guess. I didn't look it up. Nice find!

Congrats! Definitely hold on to the West Point quarters. West Point only produced 2,000,000 of each design - which may seem like a lot until you realize that Philly and Denver both put out well over 200 million of each. Even though yours (clearly) was circulated, it's absolutely still a sought after collectable.

pawn stars show valued them at 100$ each on their latest episode I thought that was high.

for a certified, high grade one, that's probably not too far from the truth

for a gas station circulated find, it's closer to maxing out at $10

If they were coming out of the rolls in relatively uncirculated condition then they're probably in the $20-$50 range

pretty sure the back was ground down in preparation for making a love token which was never completed.

If there's no engraving on the back, consider the coin heavily damaged and worth face value, $0.01

    1. VermontWonders, start a new thread please for yours, it's impolite to post onto other peoples threads with unrelated material. Just getting to you before a moderator does.

    2. Steven Tracy, similar but worse. do not hijack other people's threads and spam. multiple posts and links that redirect away from this site. Nobody is going to click your links. Start your own thread and post your pictures to the thread and ask your question. it's easy to post pictures just drag and drop or copy and paste the picture.

As far as the original poster of this thread, the 2019 American Memorial Park West point quarter you posted a picture of is circulated and will be valued less than uncirculated ones. HOWEVER, this particular design, the American Memorial Park is the harder to find one of the 5 for 2019, and even now sells on Ebay raw and ungraded for $30.00-$35.00 consistently on auctions, not Buy It Nows.
Yours I would guess at least $5.00, but not as high as $30.00. $10 to $15 range maybe, but maybe $5.00 the scrape along his neck is pretty significant.

I’ve came across 6 West Point quarters the last 2 months or so. And it’s crazy to think where I came across them at

@clint1970, that is the hardest one of 8 that hsvrbern released in the last year and a half. John Burgess gave you solid pricing info. Congratulations on your find.
