Take a look at this auction http://cgi.ebay.com/1955-Double-Die-1909-S-VDB_W0QQitemZ250343759673QQcmdZViewItemQQptZCoins_US_Individual?hash=item250343759673&_trksid=p3911.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1205%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318 This guy has had no previous transactions on ebay, and those coins look like genuine, high grade rarities. Nothing about this auction looks right to me, but what do you think?
Well for one thing he is using PCGS's pics. http://www.coinfacts.com/small_cents/lincoln_cents/wheat_ear_cents/1909s_vdb_cent.htm http://www.coinfacts.com/small_cents/lincoln_cents/wheat_ear_cents/1955_cent_doubled_die.htm
That is totally messed up...to play with peoples emotions at christmas time is disgusting. This is a scam and someone should alert ebay.
OK, lemmee think this through. Expensive keys E-Bay raw they look fabulous BUT they're pirate pics zero feedback rambling emotionally manipulative narrative After much thought, I've decided. NO WAY. Huge thumbs down on this one.
Well that's a dream come true deal seems to be fishy the coins look great as you see them here , an the last coin is from PCGs Page are they the same coin? They certainly are look at all the black marks on the both 55sDD there the same. a fraud not the coin you will be getting, Jazzcoins Joe
Remember way back folks? I had told you to memorise the coinfacts.com pics, these are the most commonly stolen pics used in Ebay scam auctions........go check.
Yeah, while it would be tough to remember all the pics on coinfacts, that S-VDB pic always sticks out.
Sent a nice request for some pics at an angle. Told him I wanted to see if I could grade by the amount of light that shines off the coin at an angle. Lets see what happens. Doubt I'll get any reply
How did you possiblt know this? I have to say I'm impressed you reconized these pictured somewhere else. Bravo.
I agree. Nice catch. I also reported it and with paypal being the one to take the beating I'd bet it goes poof.
Awwwww. He's gonne sell his coins and donate the proceeds to a needy family. What a nice guy. That makes me want to bid even more for his non-existant coins.
