I defer to one of our specialist like @paddyman98 and @JCro57 but if it is a plated cent, I should think the term would be "pealing" of the plating and not lamination. Just my guess.

    These issues are interesting.
I want to create a new word.

    Let's call it a Plamination ;)

    A Plating Lamination

I'll buy that. I was going to suggest "Stretch Marks" but your label works too. LOL

This is a plating crack not a lamination. A lamination is the separation of a metal or alloy along horizontal planes of weakness.

What do you need? How to post? Have you read the rules and information available on the site?

Yes I wanna post a picture of a quarter I think it’s a strike through but I’m fairly new to collecting so I’m not sure. I haven’t read them yet I just literally made an account a few minutes ago

Okay. Go to the CT home page and up on the top is a button for "Forums" click on that and then choose the area best suited for your question. In the case you have mentioned, Error Coins would work. Click on that and when the window opens you should see a button on the near right that says, Post New Thread. Click on that and type your heading or question and then try to elaborate in the text window below it. When you have finished, on the bottom it has a button to upload your photos "Up Load File" Click on that and chose your photos from your file. You can choose more than one and then click on the button "Chose" or whatever your OS uses. Once the photo(s) have uploaded, two buttons below each one gives you the choice of Thumbnail or Full Image. Click on Full Image and the photo will expand on your post and make it easier for members to view and enlarge.
Good luck and welcome to CT.

@Charles coin hunts. Welcome to Coin Talk. How much do you need? (Just kidding). We're here to help. If you need any kind of help it would be best to start a new thread. If you don't know how to do that, just ask. Myself and many other members will be more than willing to help you get started.
