Can't figure this one out

    It looks like micro engraving but don't know. Could be a strike through debris. 20200823_002223.jpg 20200823_002148.jpg mir_20200822_225413.jpg I've never seen this before

    It was pressed against something with some letters

    Or it could just be pareidolia

    Odd mark for sure. Thanks for posting full image, but even enlarging it more on my laptop, I can't make out the letters, but it's more than the reeded edge of another coin. I'm with the others on PMD though.

    Yup, it's PMD. Copper is soft and if took a hit.

    all are circulation hits/damage, etc.

    They did not leave the Mint with those
    letters

    I say they look like Lamination issues. Usually mistaken for lettering.
    Common issue on Wheat Cents.
