These two are admittedly not as nice as the previous three I showed, but they do take me to 10 halves overall getting me 10% to the goal of 100 different overton numbers.

and a real clunker 1823, best guess is an O-103, but its so worn to be pretty tricky to attribute. Of course all of these and the others in my collection can be seen by following the link at the bottom of my signature. Thanks for checking em out guys.

I like them bq - nice coins. Another 90 will go quick at this rate - keep it up. I am sure on coinzip Ben could attribute that 1822 - I notice you said 1823, but it looks like the top of two 2's.

Mark, while I agree from the picture it looks like a 1822 it has to be a 1823 O-103. There are no die marriages in 22 that would match this coin. Note the I-T relationship and then on the Obv take a look at star 7's relationship with the liberty band.

3rd time is a charm posting...maybe. I did not try attributing it when I first read it. My I took some time tonight to roll through all the varieties. I agree only O-103 seems to fit all of them. Still when I look I see what looks like the tops of 2 two's - the second digit still looks like the diagonal to a two. :)
