I know that pictures are important, but I'm stuck at home without my scanner. This came from my grandfather's cookie tin of world coins - I'll post more on that later.

The legend is very similar to one on a token mentioned on this website. The owner's email is listed as Pivari@geocities.com on the site, which doesn't appear to have been updated recently. If the email address is still good, he may be able to give you more information.

    Good luck on your quest.

The language is Swedish, I suppose. GÖTERBORGS FARJETRAFIK POLLETT FÖR VUXNA means "Göterborg* ferry traffic ticket for adults". And INLÖSES EFTER STYRELSE BESLUT should be something like "Redemption according to board decision".

    * Is there an R in front of the B? Göteborg is a major city in Sweden, but there may well a place named Göterborg too ...

Thanks! It does, in fact, read GÖTEBORGS. I guess that nails it down, then.
