I am wondering...

    Found this among some of my recent metal detecting finds. I am wondering if this might be some type of coin. Especially interesting is what appears to be a crown with the number 3 below it.

    it is paper thin and lightweight.     Does this look familiar to anyone? Information? Thoughts? Theories?

    ...seems to be a Spanish cob....Phillip the 3rd....

    Looks like a cob 8 maravedis of Philip III. Wonderful find

    Probably Spanish 1600-1700s, take a look there. If you post the diameter and gram weight it may help!
