I think that I have sufficiently debunked the reed theory that the forum intelligentsia deemed as fact. I'm done here, it's a bunch of dimwits.

Gwyn, I tried to be nice to you, but you've insulted too many of my friends. Just because I didn't come out and say that it is raining outside doesn't mean that you aren't all wet. ~ Chris

I think she was abrasive by this much...

Just misunderstood probably, underestimating some nice people. School is starting and almost every child will be using some time to troll the internet and cause trouble.

Be as gentle with us as you have been in the past. Speaking for myself in my advanced years, I marvel at the inability of a few to grasp the significance of the knowledge obtainable within Coin Talk. You may be correct in your assessment, however, I hope your last sentence does not come to fruition.

Please keep in mind: Many of these members have been here for many, many years. They see the same things hundreds of times as they probably encompass some of the most active users of CT. Sometimes they may respond quickly to something because they have seen it many times before. Sometimes the "quickness" of that response can lead to the misinterpretation that they are being "short" with you or "on the attack." That is almost always not the case, it's just that they've seen it so many times they don't have much else to say than a quick response such as "bag marks" or "+1." That's all. Over the computer it's hard to now exactly what someone is thinking, since you are just judging over text without seeing their faces and emotions. Have a good one.

Well, it appears to be a moot point since *DoubleDiamond* is no longer on the Members List.

Ahh well I see how it is; He was serious about the whole "I don't need you I'm not coming back thing." Well, that's too bad. If he had shown a little bit more respect and cordiality it wouldn't have gone this far. Maybe he will make a new account and not make the same mistake as before.

I would like to think so, but all(?) skunks have a white stripe down their backs.

I don't think *DoubleDiamond* could have removed himself from the forum. He ignored the mod's request/warnings to play nice. That's the best way to get the boot from this site. When a mod has to take the time to get involved and cool down a thread, it's important to follow any directions that are given.
The OP may have just been put on a vacation and could return at some point. Time will tell.

The think the troll left on his/her own and I suspect he/she will return with a new moniker to poke a few more sleeping bears. I also suspect his/her visit to another coin conversation site resulted in his/her being "booted" (paraphrasing one of his comments) for bad conduct. In my lifetime, I have found the "big mouths" are rarely willing to backup their words when personally confronted. I have had a few lively debates on this site and decided to soft peddle my responses to those seeking to escalate repartee. Personal affronts seem to be the choice of antagonists to provoke further comments while hiding behind a keyboard. I think most are insecure wimps. I actually enjoy verbal fisticuffs, but find most oppugnants rarely up to the task.

Either way, another wack-noodle for the ignore list.
