Hello everyone I have been away for awhile. Sometimes life gets in the way of fun. I am still pretty new to this so looking for some help. I sometimes have trouble telling the difference between error coins and just plain dirty or abused coins. Any thoughts on the photos please let me know as I am very interested in learning how to tell. Thanks in advance for your time and insight.

P.S. I added a Bicentennial as a reference only. Hopefully I filled this out right. This is the final one on this topic.

The 2005 kanas Near in god we trust. I cant tell if thats a gnarly scratch or a die crack. Probs a scratch and not worth anything cause it looks to have been in a housefire

Thanks again everyone. Any insight on what might have caused things such as gold toning in group 1's or as Corn Man said are some from being in a fire or just found in the ground by metal detector. Just curious
